You can create your own Google Icon for your locator mapping. The standard Google icon is approximately 20px wide by 34 pixels high in the .png format and should have a transparent background. You can experiment with your icon size, shape and color as desired.
Once you have created your icon, go to Setup Options >> Google Map Icons >> All Icons >> Add Icon to install it in your icon library as follows:
- Click the "Browse" button to locate and select the image on your local computer.
- Enter the image size in width and height.
- Enter the Icon Anchor X coordinate or leave default setting. (This value increases to the right in the Google Maps coordinate system.)
- Enter the Icon Anchor Y coordinate or leave default setting. (This value increases downwards in the Google Maps coordinate system.)
- Enter the Info Window Anchor X coordinate or leave default setting.
- Enter the Info Window Anchor Y coordinate or leave default setting.
- For an optional shadow image, click the "Browse" button to locate and select the shadow image on your local computer.
- Enter the coordinates as desired.
- Click the "Save" button.
- Return to "Setup Options", navigate to "Google Map Icons" and click the gray button to select your new image.
- Scroll to the bottom of "Setup Options" and click "Save".
You new icon should now be enabled.
