GED Testing Service
The GED Testing Service® is a groundbreaking partnership between ACE and Pearson VUE, two industry leading organizations with a common focus on adult learning. Combining a history in adult education with the world’s largest education company, they have partnered to provide hope of a better future and real opportunities for adult learners who don’t have a high school credential.
The GED Test is used by all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, U.S. insular areas, Canadian provinces and territories, the U.S. military, and federal correctional institutions for the purpose of awarding a high school graduation equivalency credential. Nearly 800,000 GED Tests are taken each year, and in 2009, more than 470,000 individuals were awarded their high school credential.
GED Testing service wanted to expand their services to a larger audience of people needing their help with acquiring a GED. To achieve this goal, they needed a way to handle thousands of phone calls that would direct their callers to the nearest of their 2000 plus testing centers and they needed it to be launched within a two week window.
Within 24 hours of approval, the Xtreme Locator team provided the dedicated phone line and VXML scripting necessary to deliver the search results for the nearest testing centers. Our IVR system, using the high quality Text-To-Speech engine to deliver the testing center location details, now effortlessly handles this task providing instant information with no human intervention.

Our web locator client needed to better handle the hundreds of monthly phone calls from customers seeking their product dealers.
