Xtreme Locator Version 5.4.0 Release Details

The following updates and features are included in the new  Xtreme Locator Version 5.4.0 completed on 9/19/09:

New and/or Enhanced Features

• Expanded French Language Support - Additional translation fields have been added for French language.  These fields are now all defined in Setup Options.

• Location Administrator Assignment - We have added a filter by Country and State/Province along with a Select All button so you can now easily assign Location Administrators by geographic location.

• Location Manager Filters - We have added filters for the location search in the Locations Table so you can search your location record database by any field.

• Search Form Enhancement - This enhancement to our search forms (Worldwide Search and Advanced Search) that allows you to now choose between showing all countries in the dropdown country list or only countries where you have locations. Located Setup Options>>Only show countries that site uses in search - If this box is checked, the dropdown country lists in the Worldwid Search form and Advanced Search form will only contain countries where you have locations.

• Google Map Info Balloon Text Color - Setting added in Setup Options to specify the text color in the info balloon on the Google map.  In the past, if you had your html results page set for a dark background with light colored text, the info in the balloon could become invisible on the white background of the info balloon.

• Google Location Map Header and Footer - Fields have been added in Setup Options to allow for header and footer display on the Google location map.

• Custom Zip Code Not Found Message - Field added in Setup Options to customize message displayed when an invalid postal code is entered.  Supports English and French language.

• French Languagel Support for Google Maps - If Show Language Choice is enabled in Setup Options, the location map that is displayed will be the Google French map.

• Location Listing - Enables a directory type listing by Country and State with hyperlinks to show a listing of all locations by country and state.

Fixes

• Google Maps/IE8 Problem Fix - This fixes the problem with the Google map only displaying a portion of the location map due to IE's "Compatibility View" bug.

• Google Info Balloon Width Problem - This fixes problem with info balloon being too wide then there is a lot of text in a displayed field.

• International characters not exported imported properly - This fixes the problem with certain alternate language characters not displaying correctly from import.
