Xtreme Locator Version 5.3.2 Release Details

The following updates and features are included in the new  Xtreme Locator Version 5.3.2 Release:

• New Public Registration - The public registration feature is now available to allow site visitors to add a location record to your Xtreme Locator database.  When this feature is enabled, a link will be displayed on the search results and advanced search pages to allow site visitors to submit a location for inclusion into your locator.

• Improvements to Google All Locations Map - Option added to show an icon for each location and select a smaller icon.  Prior to this update, at a zoom level of 4 or lower, our map showed regional icons and clicking on those icons will zoom to the region and show individual icons within the region.  With this change, you can now select to show an icon for all locations regardless of the zoom level and you can choose to display a smaller icon.

• Improvements to Code Generator - We have added a new search form for worldwide search.  This short form includes two fields; 1) Country and 2) Postal Code.  When a country with supported Geo-Codes for postal code locating is chosen, the postal code box remains active and available for a postal code entry.  When a country without Geo-Code support is selected, the postal code box is disabled and the search will return all locations in the country selected.
• Improvements to PHP Code Generator Deployment - We have added a new code within the xlResults.php file the will now allow for a Location Detail page to be generated.
• Allow to filter results by Visitor Country - Located in "Setup Options", when this filter option is selected, search will only return locations within the country of the zip code/postal code searched for.
• Improved Zip+4 Support - With this update, using Zip+4 zip codes for US locations is better supported and provides more accurate locating.
• New "Display Name" in Field Manager -  We now have a field in our "Field Manager" called "Display Name".  This field allows you to choose an alias to display in the Xtreme Locator pages.  For example, if you prefer for "Postal Code" to display next to the "Zip" field, enter "Postal Code" in the "Display Name" field in "Field Manager". 
  
  Tip:  If you don't want any name to display next to a field, enter a space in the "Display Name" field.
• New and Improved Help Documentation and Knowledge Base - We have recently installed a new Knowledge Base with sections for Xtreme Locator Help Docs, FAQs and various Deployment Tips.  You can also perform a keyword search for the question you have about your Xtreme Locator.  To check it out, Click Here.
